Staking
How staking works
Belief Layer is built to reward long-term believers: the people who stay with a community as it grows. Staking means depositing your tokens into their staking pool to share in trading revenue. Holding tokens in your wallet alone does not earn staking rewards.
The rule to remember
Stake now → skip the upcoming payout → qualify for the one after.
The waiting period means a fresh deposit cannot collect the payout that is about to happen. Keep your stake in the pool to qualify, then continue sharing in future funded payouts. The aim is to reward people who stay with a project.
Start staking
- Connect your wallet on BNB Chain and keep some BNB available for network fees.
- Open the token you want to stake. Check its reward asset and payout schedule.
- Enter your staking amount. Your wallet may first ask you to allow the pool to use your tokens, then ask you to confirm the stake.
- Check when your deposit becomes eligible. You do not need to keep the website or wallet open while waiting.
Know your balances
- Staked: all the tokens you have deposited and not withdrawn.
- Eligible: the part of your stake that has finished waiting and can share in payouts.
- Claimable: rewards you have already earned and can transfer to your wallet.
Your staked tokens and your rewards are separate. Rewards do not automatically become more stake.
